Thanks Sethia. There were 4 or 5 of them continually on the Banksia bush but it took patience and 20 difference shots before I got this pose.

not sure if the not blue face is female or juvenile . truely a lovely bird , tongue is as long as it,s beak !!!!!!!!!!!

Hi kramx, definitely female. There was at least one male, with vibrant blue face, and several juveniles (not quite as large), with non-blue faces (as you comment). Unfortunately the male was less willing to pose for me like this female.
