I've been "shooting" birds for many years Xe and the ones I don't know I either look up on Goggle images or use one of my bird books.

Thanks Ted, these weren't taken with the macro lens I won but with my Sigma 150-600mm lens..had to buy that one...

They're so cute I just want to cuddle them. But they were probably really far from you when you took these pictures

Not that far Xe, probably about 20-30 meters. The Heron was closer to 50 meters.
