As anyone who has seen a Disney movie knows, the appeal spreads to a much wider community than just kids. Movies like Pirates of the Caribbean and The Lion King are favourites amongst fans of all ages. As a result of this, it seems Big W’s latest move has excited parents more than their kids.
As a part of Big W’s Bub&Me sale this Thursday, they recently launched a new range of Disney Classics items and shoppers have gone ‘crazy’ trying to get their hands on them. The beautiful collection featured clothing, bedding, feeding items, and toys starting at a low price of $5.
Among the top, must-have items is a floor rug featuring popular Disney characters: Dumbo, Bambi, and Simba.
The Bub&Me discounts include 40% off Bonds babywear, 40% off Avent Bottles, and 40% off Ecostore and the Infasecure Pivot Move Convertible Car Seat (now at $299) which saves you $300 when compared to purchasing it at its usual price.
Louis Maddalena who is Big W’s health, beauty, and baby senior manager explained that the sought-after event aims to help families that are on the ‘precious, and sometimes challenging, journey’ of having a baby.
“We know the joy of welcoming a baby into your family can stack up financially, that’s why our biannual Bub&Me event provides our customers with a huge breadth of products and advice from trusted brands, at a great value…” she said. “This year is no exception with the inclusion of the gorgeous Disney Classics Collection”
A couple of lucky mums who were able to get a hold of the products have excitedly taken to Facebook to share photos of their hauls.
“Absolutely smitten with the new stuff at Big W,” one person happily posted about their haul alongside a snap of it.
One mum shared a shot of her trolley completely packed with the Disney Classics collection to the Big W Mums Australia Facebook group.

“This Disney theme!!!! Amazing!!! I kinda went a bit crazy…whoops,” she wrote.
Some mums admitted to spending a little too much money on the sale, with one revealing that she spent up to $700 on the range. However, some unlucky shoppers shared their frustration over the unavailability of the range in their local stores.
“My local Big W had sweet F all.” one commented.
“My Big W had like nothing!” added another.
