Benifits of honey

The virtues of organic natural honey.

Honey is an excellent tonic for the body
Honey contains many vitamins and minerals, including vitamins A, B, C, D, K, magnesium, calcium, potassium and phosphorus. Thanks to its composition, it is an excellent natural stimulant to start your day and an effective tonic for children, pregnant women and convalescents.

Honey is excellent for balancing digestion.
Honey has been used since ancient times as a natural remedy for digestive disorders. It stimulates digestion, prevents indigestion or constipation and reduces gastric acidity.

Honey is excellent for soothing coughs
Raw honey is a very effective natural remedy for cough, sore throat, laryngitis and pharyngitis. The antitussive, fluidifying and expectorant action of honey is linked to the presence of volatile substances in its composition, but also to its antibacterial action.

Honey is excellent for fighting fatigue and insomnia
Raw honey helps the body eliminate fatigue and relax. It releases glycogen in the body, a substance essential for the optimal functioning of the body during sleep. A teaspoon of honey added to a glass of milk before bedtime will help you sleep soundly as it will stimulate the production of melatonin in your body.

Honey is great for keeping your skin and hair healthy
Honey is a very common ingredient used in cosmetic masks because it contains many nutrients and antioxidants that help keep skin young and healthy.

EFFECTS OF CONSUMPTION OF PROCESSED HONEY?
While raw honey has multiple benefits for our health, fake honey is harmful for our body. Due to the sugar and other chemicals it may contain (dyes, preservatives, flavors, etc.), fake honey is very dangerous, especially for children and people with diabetes. In children, it can be addictive to sweetness and can cause major allergies and imbalances in the body. When it comes to people with diabetes, consuming fake honey can cause an attack, due to the excess sugar it contains.

ADMINISTRATION
How should honey be consumed?
Children between 1 and 3 years old can eat two to four teaspoons of raw honey daily.

Children over 6 years old can consume eight teaspoons of natural honey daily.

Teenagers can consume a maximum of 70 grams of natural honey per day, or about 15 teaspoons.

Adults, on the other hand, cannot consume more than 100 grams of honey per day, which is equivalent to 20 teaspoons.

Honey can be eaten as is or added to fruit juices and salads, tea and milk.

Is raw honey recommended for babies?
Not for babies, we recommend the consumption of raw honey and all products from the hive to children from 1 year old.

Can people with diabetes consume raw honey?
As a general rule, we recommend that people with diabetes consult their doctor before consuming honey.
