Being separated​

A woman agreed to dog-sit her neighbor’s male pup while they were on vacation. The only problem? Her own female dog was in heat.

She thought her big house would keep them apart… until she was woken up by howling, whining, and the two dogs stuck together!

Panicked, she called the vet late at night. The grumpy vet listened, then said:

“Put the phone down next to the dogs. I’ll call back — the ringing should distract the male and he’ll be able to pull away.”

She asked, “Do you think that’ll work?”

The vet sighed and replied…

“Well, it just worked on me.”
