What made me sad is little dark skinned boy ,with white teacher, never portrayed the other way around.

Having worked in the prison system many years ago l would suggest this cartoon is fairly accurate for many parts of W.A. Prisons (& possibly those in the U.S.A. too).

There is also a lot of white trash in the system as well. Stop with the imagery and give all kids a chance.

Understand you didn't write the joke, just not humored by the suggestion intended by the image.

Agee. There are a lot of bad white people in the prison system for different crimes. When l stated 'many parts of W.A.', & having worked at both Metro & Country prisons, 'many parts' referred to our Outstations (Country prisons), like Kalgoorlie, Broome & Roebourne. Much of that, 'white trash' may at some time be transferred to one of those Outstations.

The sad part about Aboriginal imprisonment & white too is that they may not have committed all the crimes they were accused of. This is from a testimony of an ex Police Ofr who l worked with. We are all aware of this fact aren't we?

Would your opinion of the cartoon have been different if the colour of the characters were reversed with the same caption? Is there some prejudice in your comment?

Sadly, there is always a minority that have nothing better to do than look too hard in to humour and pick the crap out of what it was always intended to be.... nothing more than humour. After all, it is a humour page.
Their level of what they feel is funny and what is not, is clearly of a different standard compared to the majority. For a long time now, I have seen many articles put up as being funny on this site, some of which to me are also not funny but I don't bother ridiculing the entertainment for what it is intended to be.
As the old saying goes, if you have nothing good to say, then don't bother saying anything at all.
