Bacon Gouda Egg Bites (Muffin Tin Recipe)​


An oh-so-simple Bacon Gouda Egg Bites recipe inspired by Starbucks egg bites, for quick and easy breakfasts and snacks during the day.

Ingredients​

  • 4 cooked bacon crumbled
  • 7 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk of choice
  • 1 ¼ cup shredded Gouda or Gruyere, cheddar, or your favorite
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • red pepper flakes to taste

Instructions​

  • Preheat the oven to 176°C and spray muffin tin generously with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  • In each muffin cup, add bacon and shredded cheese.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the bacon and cheese in each muffin cup, leaving a little room at the top.
  • Bake for 20 minutes on the middle rack of the oven until the egg bites are just set. They will begin to pull away from the edges of the muffin tin.
