Back in stock! The all-time popular laundry product you don't want to miss out on

If you're thinking about giving your laundry routine a complete makeover or simply looking to add some convenience, make sure to mark ALDI's Special Buys on Saturday, July 15th, in your calendar.

They have everything you need to rejuvenate your laundry, including washing machines, pegs, and drying racks. However, you'll need to act fast because there's one product that's sure to sell out quickly!

In previous years, ALDI's Double Laundry Hamper has become a popular item, not only for its ability to separate light and dark clothes but also for its clever repurposing as a rubbish and recycling station.

Priced at $69.99, this innovative product features two separate compartments, each lined with fabric, intended to assist with sorting laundry loads.

However, some resourceful homeowners have discovered additional uses for this versatile hamper. By replacing the fabric liners with plastic bins (Bunnings' 27L bins have been found to work well), you can effortlessly transform them into a sleek and organised rubbish and recycling bin.

This hidden functionality allows it to maintain the aesthetic appeal of a stylish white wooden hamper.

Looking back to the release of these laundry hampers at ALDI this time last year, the waves the product made in the community were significant.

'I am loving it. So much tidier than the old bin. Love how hidden the mess is, and now it doesn't look like we have a dirty bin in the lounge room,' shared a happy mum in the buzzing ALDI Mums Facebook group.

'I love these. I had been waiting for them for over a year... I hope they sell them in Canberra,' added another ALDI fan.

'This is such a good idea!' said a third.

Aside from the double laundry hamper, ALDI's Special Buys range offers a variety of other amazing items. You can get your hands on a 10kg silver or white front load washing machine for $499, along with an 8kg heat pump dryer in the same sleek colours for $599 each.

And let's not forget about ironing needs. The Braun Carestyle 3 Premium Steam Station is available for just $159. Additionally, you can get a garment steamer and fabric shaver for a humble price of $49.99.

If you're searching for non-electic drying solutions, look no further. Choose between the $59.99 retractable clothesline or the extra-large drying rack at $19.99.

Key Takeaways

  • ALDI is rereleasing its popular dual laundry hamper in its Saturday, July 15 Special Buys, which has been used effectively as a rubbish and recycling station.
  • Shoppers swap the fabric liner for plastic bins of similar size to hide their rubbish and recycling in the sleek white wooden hamper.
  • Other items available in the Special Buys range include front-load washing machines, heat pump dryers, a steam station for ironing, a garment steamer, a retractable clothesline and an extra large drying rack.

Does Aldi have a vested interest in this site? Seems to be promotions for 'stuff' they sell in the 'special buys' category every week. If people want these non essential items from Aldi get their app or the catalogue they pump out. Given Aldi isn't a Nation wide retail (no presence in Tassie, but are located in rural areas with less population) not sure why it's such a focus on this site.

Now we have limited space since downsizing I got rid of a double hamper for laundry...took up too much space and as just two of us we just throw everything into the washing machine and I sort out from there when I want to do a wash. I would use the one advertised for storing bulky things like blankets doonas etc. if I had one but I dont want one

Aldi gives us more options, Coles, Woolworths have been getting my hard earned cash for years. I also shop in the independents for a change. Costco isn't worth it for our family of 2.
