Planning a backyard BBQ with the family, or are you just wanting some snacks to enjoy while you watch the fireworks? Need to buy some mozzie spray and beach umbrellas?
No worries, because most major supermarkets, retail stores, and alcohol retailers – such as Woolworths, Coles, ALDI, Bunnings, Dan Murphy's, BWS, Liquorland, and Vintage Cellars – across Australia will be open!
However, operating hours differ from state to state and may change from region to region, so be sure to check the schedule of your local stores ahead of time.
WOOLWORTHS
Get ready to shop at Woolworths - the supermarket giant has confirmed that most of their stores across the country will be open, but beware! There will be a select few exceptions, so make sure to check the hours at your local store before January 26th.
ALDI
This Australia Day, ALDI has got you covered, with most of their stores around the country open for all your shopping needs.
The supermarket giant is encouraging shoppers to head to the store locator section of their website to confirm individual opening times so that they can plan their shopping trips accordingly.

COLES
Good news to all our valued members and regular Coles shoppers in NSW! Get ready for Australia Day with ease, as the supermarket giant has confirmed that all NSW stores will remain open on January 26th.
