1. Removing red wine stains

Mama Mila swears by shaving cream to get rid of red wine stains from clothing.

Chantel claimed: “Apply [shaving cream] and wait 15 minutes and rinse or blot the stain away.”

She then instructed her viewers to rinse the blot or stain after 15 minutes.

2. Getting rid of fingerprints on stainless steel

The Melbourne mum advises using buff baby oil for removing fingerprints on stainless steel.

To do this, just simply wipe the baby oil on the surface of stainless steel using a piece of cloth.

3. Deodourising your home

Chantel says that simmering lemon, rosemary, and vanilla extract can make your home smell amazing.

Is it really not possible to remove fingerprints with just a wet cloth?

Denture ckeanibg tablets work really well for removing red wine, blueberry, beetroot & other stains. For carpets - using a cloth, gently mop up any excess fluids then apply water that has a denture cleaning tablet dissolved in it. Pat at the stain & again remove excess fluid then twist a cloth onto the stain firmly until it's all gone. Works beautifully on anything.

When I was teaching I discovered that shaving cream will clean crayon marks off walls and chalkboards when nothing else would. Children can’t tell the difference between chalk and crayon so I was forever using my discovery. It happened because I would sometimes have children do finger painting on their paint stained desks which would simultaneously clean their desks and make them smell nice so I tried it on the stubborn crayon marks and it worked.
