I went to Centrepoint Tower to eat and their Menu was different kinds of kangaroo and other exotic meats.

Roo meat doesn’t appeal to me but I rarely eat red meat anyway. My daughter has been cooking with it for years. She says beef is unaffordable for her.

While kangaroo meat doesn’t appeal to me my husband, son, and grandson like it. We all used to eat rabbit when we were younger, baked rabbit, rabbit stew, rabbit fritters. I organised a bbq with kangaroo, emu, and crocodile meat during Naidoc week when I worked in aged care. Just small samples for tasting. Most of the clients and some staff tried all three, I could only bring myself to try the crocodile, I didn’t mind the taste. Emu meat is very dark and didn’t look one bit appealing, the kangaroo looked ok but I couldn’t bring myself to try it. My husband and grandson also like deer, I can’t bring myself to eat that either.
