Included in the list is Woolworths' Smash Cake at $35. This delectable delight features layers of chocolate sponge and rich buttercream and is filled with hidden treats and covered in a velvety smooth milk chocolate dome.

Next on the list is their Chocolate Chunk Cookie Pie ($14)—an oversized cookie that you can just cut, heat, and serve with some ice cream, and you’ve got yourself a delicious dessert!

Woolworths also released their take on drip cakes. You can score their delicious Happy Birthday Chocolate Drip Cake for just $29. It is the same chocolate cake Chris Hemsworth enjoyed on his birthday in August.

If you're not a big chocolate fan, Woolworths is also releasing a delectable caramel cake.

The cake features a fluffy caramel sponge cake, with buttercream layered with dulce de leche, finished off with scrumptious chocolate-coated honeycomb pieces and milk and caramel chocolates.

Last but not least, Woolworths also released their Loaded Carrot Cake Muffin priced at $7.50 for a pack of four. The dessert features cream cheese-filled muffins sprinkled with a spiced walnut crumble—perfect for a tea-time snack!

Feeling a little bit creative?

One savvy Woolworths shopper turned an average supermarket cake into a showstopper with a few basic ingredients and a whole lot of creativity!

You'll need a mud cake (chocolate or caramel at $6.40, whichever you prefer!), two batches of buttercream frosting (one white and one coloured), a black fondant, ready-to-use toppers for the horn and ears, and now it's your turn to recreate the magic at home!

Funny how prices are getting larger and the servings of the items are getting smaller.
Saw a pack of 2 T-Bones for $30. Years ago you could buy a half a hogget for $30 cut up and fully dressed.
At this rate of inflation my Great Grandkids will be earning a minimum wage of $1,000,000 a year and a steak will cost $200,000 at a guess.

We have a tradition in our family that when a baby is one they have two cakes , a beautiful cake for the birthday party and a smash cake on their actual birthday .

What is a smash cake? In case you're unfamiliar, a smash cake is basically a tiny cake meant to be relished by your baby on her first birthday. And since 1-year-olds are pretty much lawless, that means she'll likely dig in by using her fingers, or “smashing” her face into it the second it's placed in front of her.

I think that's a bit expensive for a smash cake.

Strange woolies also have a Xmas smash cake . Not sure anyone would smash a cake on Xmas day or would they
I reckon this is yet another American "tradition" copied down under. Nothing more revolting and wasteful than baby/toddler/child covered in icky sticky cake and icing. Nothing remotely amusing in this sight. IMO

Certainly wouldn't want to eat any of those unhealthy things. 😕
Not with 6 teaspoons of sugar in every portion!! Not good at all for diabetics.
About time they made more healthy food with less sugar.

It's not American , it originated in Mexico smash cake is a cake meant for a baby turning 1. The idea is that they will eat, smash, and generally make a mess of it as they explore this new food by using their hands (It's usually placed in front of baby on a highchair or on the floor on a sheet .

It's showing now they are one new foods are coming.

People keep saying another American thing we are following , not sure why people say that . The only American thing I see people doing is Halloween which I absolutely hate. And that's not because it's American but the actual meaning behind it
