Attention Shoppers! This Kmart 'must-have' $2 Christmas gadget comes with a serious caution you can't ignore!

As the festive season approaches, the hunt for the perfect Christmas gifts for our loved ones begins. But let's face it, while shopping for presents can be a delightful experience, wrapping them up can often feel like a chore. The struggle with scissors that won't glide, the battle with bulky, round objects that refuse to stay put – it's enough to dampen anyone's holiday spirit.

Enter Kmart's latest innovation, designed to take the pain out of wrapping: the $2 Wrapping Paper Cutter. Available in festive red and green, this nifty gadget promises to transform gift wrapping from a tedious task into a smooth and easy operation. But before you rush out to grab this bargain, there's a word of caution from fellow shoppers that you should consider.

The wrapping paper cutter, though a marvel in theory, has received mixed reviews from the Kmart community. The device, which stands at a compact 10cm tall with a 6cm diameter, is simple to use. You slide your roll of wrapping paper into the cutter, pull out the desired length, and then push the paper into the blade slot before sliding the cutter to neatly trim the paper.

However, some users have found that the gadget's ease of use may not be as straightforward as advertised. One shopper left a three-star review on Kmart's website, noting, 'Seems a bit trickier to use than I thought!' Another gave it four stars but mentioned, 'The blade is a little flimsy so you’ve gotta get the angle just right but when you do it cuts perfectly.'

Despite these concerns, the wrapping paper cutter has become something of a viral sensation on social media platforms like TikTok, where users have dubbed it a 'must-have' item for the holiday season. Enthusiastic content creators are urging their followers to invest in this tool, with comments like, 'Why didn’t I think of this? Stop fighting with scissors to cut your wrapping paper,' and 'Take my money. Just take my money!'

But the wrapping paper cutter isn't the only trick Kmart has up its sleeve to assist with your Christmas preparations. The store also offers a $3 bike gift bag, which has been hailed as a 'game-changer' for wrapping awkwardly shaped presents like bicycles. The red and white striped bag is perfect for concealing large gifts without the hassle of paper and tape.

For those who take their wrapping seriously, Kmart's $8 Christmas wrapping paper storage is a must. It keeps your wrapping paper, ribbons, bows, and tape neatly organised throughout the year. And let's not forget the assorted bottle bags embossed with festive greetings for $4, novelty bottle holders for $2, and a variety of gift bags starting at just $1.

So, dear members of the Seniors Discount Club, while the $2 wrapping paper cutter may seem like a steal, it's important to approach with a bit of caution. It might take a little practice to master the technique, and the blade's durability could be a concern. Remember, the joy of gift-giving is not just in the present itself, but in the presentation. Take the time to choose the right tools for you, and wrapping those gifts could become a part of the holiday fun.

I have always cut my Christmas wrapping with a knife (I know …. Dangerous), but it works for me. Crease the wrapping on the desired length, then swipe with the blade…neat cut every time..🎅

I bought a similar one of these ages ago online, best thing ever as I can't cut a straight line to save myself!

Why is every single thing in kmart is a 'must have'. I use decorative gift bags that aren't for any special occasion Asian so they can be recycled to be used for another gift on another occasion
I totally agree with you about everything from KMart being a 'must have' I wonder if there's some kind of kick back. But I'm not sure what you mean by Asian?
