Ask the Leyland Brothers

'Ask the Leylands, Ask the Leylands...' Can you still hum the tune? Back in the day, the Leyland Brothers inspired wanderlust across the country with their trusty 4WD and cameras in tow. From dusty outback towns to hidden coastal gems, they showed us the Australia we’d never seen.

Who else wished they could join them on the road? Share your favourite Leyland Brothers moment here!

We loved the show and still have some of their DVDs. They also built Leyland Brothers World near Port Stephens and we had a great day out with our young daughter and nephew. They even had a replica Ayers Rock (as it was then) and our nephew climbed it!. It was a great place for information about Australia and all the places they travelled. It closed down after a few years which was a shame.

Loved watching this show on TV.
I can still remember every word to the singalong theme song!
Me too. Decades later I finally made it to the NT with my son (his 50th b/day present) and adult grandchildren. The song ran through my brain, but I didn't embarrass the kids by singing it aloud.
So many more places to check out.
