Ask Joy: More than Friends

‘Make new friends, but keep the old,
One is silver, the other is gold.’

These days, we’ve never been so inundated with deeply personal, visual and intimate exchanges between people. So, amongst all this openness, how do we find people to have relationships with? How do we know who to form relationships with and how to maintain them?

Trust yourself to know what you want, and then go about finding this.

Tried 3 times.... 3 strikes and I am out. Too old to put up with BS.
I am glad you are at peace with your surroundings now. But I can only think there was one common denominator with all three . Happiness needs to come from both parties.

I find with women, especially nowadays, it's a case of take, take take and there is no give. They fleece you in the courts... I attended some meetings where the vile was out there.... admittedly the meeting was composed of 99% vile-spitting females out to get as much as they could.

Believe me, not all women are like that. It’s sad that your experiences have damaged your view.
