Arnott’s new bikkie will have you OBSESSED for more!

Is it time for Tim Tam to hand over the crown for Australia’s favourite bikkie?

It seems like Arnott’s is back at it again with their classic chocolatey treats!

The Aussie biscuit maker recently came out with a new range unlike anything it has ever released before – and foodies who have already tried the snacks are calling it the biscuit company’s “bougiest” treat yet.

Introducing – Arnott’s Obsession chocolate bikkies!

Ever since their release earlier this month, the Obsession chocolate bikkies are already causing some frenzy on social media.

Guess it’s safe to say fans are THAT obsessed, eh?

A TikTok user who goes by the username @updatesbylina even made a video showcasing the bikkies and three out of its four available flavours.

“Arnott’s what the hell are these — these are fricken delicious!” she says on the clip. “Oh my god, these are the most bougiest biscuits, holly molly.”

(For our members who are not familiar with the term “bougie”, it is pronounced as boo-jee and is a modern slang that is synonymous with “fancy”, “extravagant”, “upper middle class”, and sometimes “pretentious”.)

The woman then proceeds to open each packet, revealing the chocolatey treats inside. Then she holds them up to the camera as she describes their appearance and, of course, their taste.

“Look how fat each one is,” she says as she holds up a sliced bikkie. “Look at these centres, look at that grenache oozing out of the middle and look how much caramel there is in this biscuit.”

And her verdict?

“These are so good, they’re crunchy, they’re soft, they’re gooey, so good.”

And it seems like many of her viewers agree! Several users wrote that they can’t wait to try the treats, with one of them saying: “You made my day and thanks! Gotta try. They look and sound yum!”

Arnott’s Obsession biscuits are available at Coles for $5.50 for a box of six, but they’re currently on a promo. If you buy two boxes of any flavour, you can get them for only $8 instead of $11!

Here are the four flavours to choose from – Milk chocolate, Dark chocolate, Salted caramel (best-seller), and Mint chocolate.

They’re quickly disappearing on Coles shelves so don’t walk, run folks!

I'm sorry but with the cost of living going through the roof and money getting tighter by the week $5.50 a packet of only 6 is a joke. I don't care how yummy they are in these times they are just a step too far. I would rather spend my $5.50 on something that was a little healthier and longer lasting.;)

Two packets for $8.00 not $5.50 each buy them while they are at the discounted price and add them to flybuys (you only live once yummy).

These are definitely a very yummy treat. Buy them on special as the price otherwise is very prohibitive. But to be realistic, they are very rich and not the sort of thing you need to eat dozens of. Arnotts other new addition are crackers. Flatbread Dippers, Sourdough Crisps etc. They are abso.utely addictive. Great on their own or with your favourite cheese.

They ARE delicious but in the same category as buying treats at a bakery or cafe - where they'd cost a lot more than just over $1 each at full price ...... 🤣 but I wonder how many of us could keep a packet in the pantry especially for a treat with visitors?
