Are you missing out on HUGE savings? Here's how you can join a little-known Woolworths group

As any savvy shopper knows, it pays to do your research before hitting the supermarket – especially if you want to score some major bargains.

Lucky for you, we've got a real treat today!

We've found out about a little-known group that gives Woolworths shoppers access to incredible savings… and it's invite-only!

The group is called Bunch, and it's a Woolworths community dedicated to 'tasting, testing and talking all things food'.

Members get exclusive access to free product samples as well as special offers and discounts.

In exchange for the freebies, Bunch members must share reviews of the items they receive.

TikTok user Miss Minchin recently shared the perks of being a member of Bunch in a post.

The video she uploaded showed a self-checkout counter with a screen on the last stage of purchasing where customers select ‘Pay Now’.

The total cost of her items was $23.81.

When she proceeds with the transaction, five separate items indicating ‘BUNCH OFFER’ could be seen on the screen deducting amounts from her total.

Believe it or not, one item had $9.00 marked off!

From more than 20 dollars, Miss Minchin’s final bill was only $4.41 — a huge difference of $19.40.

We haven’t even gotten to the best part — it's free to join!

In another post, Miss Minchin shared how people can join the exclusive program.

First, she said to obtain a free Everyday Rewards Card and activate it.

Next, she said to search for the term ‘Woolworths Bunch’. Don’t worry about this part, we’ve got you covered! Click here.

Then, once on Bunch’s sign-up page, Miss Minchin said to fill in your details.

The next step is perhaps the most challenging one. She said: ‘Be patient!’

As you will probably come to find out if you try registering, Woolworths’ Bunch program is ‘currently at capacity’, according to the supermarket.

But fret not, Miss Minchin has some words for the disappointed.

‘Please be patient. We don’t know how soon they will have new slots.’ she said.

‘I was waitlisted for 1.5 years, but did I complain? No, because it’s free to register.’

Miss Minchin also explained that you don’t have to be a Woolworths Team member to join the program. In fact, Team members have a separate program they can sign up to called Team Bunch.

Despite her endorsement, she also admitted that she doesn’t know how Woolworths selects participants.
‘Anyone can register their interest, I’m just not sure what their selection criteria is,’ she said.

‘When I shop at Woolies, I always make sure to scan my Rewards card.’

Some users shared their love for the program.

'Love being a Bunchee, I got a $27 steak last week!' one said.

Another added: 'Bunch is fantastic. I got approved last year and I've got so many good things off it'.

Unsurprisingly, many users have tried their luck with applying too.

‘The waiting list for Bunch is like 10 years long,’ a user joked.

‘My wait time says 12 months,’ said another.

Key Takeaways

  • TikTok user @miss___minchin shared a little-known Woolworths program called 'Bunch' to score exclusive freebies and discounts.
  • To join, you have to fill out a form expressing your interest.
  • Membership is currently at capacity, so you may have to wait a while to get approved.
Others were curious how Miss Minchin managed to score so many free products in one transaction.

‘I have a Bunch account, you generally only get one product to try,’ one user said with a thinking emoji.

Another exclaimed: ‘How do you get so many! I’m lucky to get one (product free) a fortnight!’

‘It was just stacked! Some are almost a day before expiry because most items are hard to find at my local,’ Miss Minchin explained.

Well, whatever the case is, we’re sure there’s no harm in trying to score a Bunch membership, right?

Meanwhile, if you have time, do check out this Woolworths story featuring a disgruntled shopper’s incident with a self-checkout counter, or another shopper’s gripe with their new — and flimsy — reusable tote bags.

I was sent an invite to this maybe 18 months ago and still waiting.
Sounds good but maybe they are only gathering information, eg email to send you advertisements .
You need a rewards card to sign up so a good way to get people to sign up.

I would love to know the actual number of people that are in this group

I am a bunchee and enjoy that I contribute reviews that help improve or support products but the offers are very random and occasionally not very tasty lol

Interesting! I’m a loyal Woolies customer (have been for years), and I have a Woolies’ Rewards card, but now I’ll be checking out ‘Bunch’. 👍

I’ve been a Bunchee since shortly after they launched and I love it. Some things I don’t bother claiming as they’re not relevant to me (kid related) or I just don’t use them, but I’ve had many items that have saved me money and been really good like a litre of olive oil and a tray of chicken mince.

Have been a member of bunch for over a year, I claim one sample a week, sometimes you get a surprise one that you have to click on before they run out. Goodluck everyone 🌼

Just shows that sometimes you presume things before verifying, I was sent an invite to Bunch a couple of years ago, I did not reply to the invite and without checking it out I just presumed that I would probably not be eligible as there is only the 2 of us, no kids or grandchildren and at the moment no pets either, also we live in a rural area so I thought no point in filling out the application as we don't fit the supermarkets definition of a family and so would not have a lot of input to offer, my Bad, should never just presume anything. I will be applying today see how long it takes for the application to be granted.
