Applebee's Copycat Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Garlic mashed potatoes, I find if using fresh garlic instead powder garlic it taste better. Another delicious recipe.
INGREDIENTS
• 1kg red potatoes
• 1⁄2 cup milk
• 1/4 cup heavy cream
• 3 tablespoons butter
• Garlic powder (to taste) Salt and black pepper (to taste)
• 1/4 cup garlic cloves (whole)
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat your oven to 200°C. Wrap garlic cloves in aluminum foil and roast in the oven for 45 minutes.
2. While garlic is roasting, boil the potatoes until tender.
3. Once the garlic is done, peel the cloves and mash them into the cooked potatoes.
4. Add milk, heavy cream, butter, and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
5. Mix until smooth and creamy.
6. Serve and enjoy!
