It's about time the people that immigrated here and people hoping for Australian citizenship 'learnt to respect us and what our fathers/ancestors did.' I think all shops should be closed on this day, My grandfather, My uncle my father and myself are all serving members. Unfortunately I am the only one left alive. I would like to celebrate and remember those of my family that were around during WW2, and the Korean war with me actually seeing the first Gulf war whilst living in a an Asian country. We all came back with Aust Service Medals which were all richly deserved. People should consider what we went through.
