Amazing $22 Kmart secret one Aussie mum swears by to revolutionise your laundry routine!

Attention, Seniors Discount Club members! We've uncovered a fantastic new tip from a clever Aussie mum that could completely transform your laundry routine. This innovative approach will not only make your laundry room look chic and stylish but also simplify things, and it all starts with an unexpected $22 Kmart item.

The talented mum's trick involves re-purposing Kmart's $22 Drink Dispenser, but instead of using it to quench your thirst, it's turned into a brilliant laundry detergent dispenser. She shared her tip on the Facebook group Kmart Home Decor and Hacks Australia, a platform where our members can find numerous innovative ideas.

'I used a water dispenser from Kmart as a laundry detergent dispenser,' she wrote on her post, describing her ingenious brainwave.

Naturally, the post caused quite a stir, with hundreds of people jumping in to express their enthusiasm and support for the mum's stylish and clever laundry setup.

'Wow! That's awesome! Looks lovely (and) fresh,' one person raved, obviously impressed with the arrangement.

'That's brilliant,' echoed another supportive commenter.

'What a fabulous idea!!!' declared a third, underlining the broad appeal of the tip.

Another Kmart enthusiast joined the discussion and shared their own hack: ‘I use mine for scent beads.’ Source: Facebook

The post was so inspirational that it inspired others to share how they have repurposed their own dispensers. One user uploaded a picture showcasing their dispenser storing scent beads, while another mentioned using one for fabric softener.

As with any creative idea, there were a few sceptics who raised concerns about potential issues with this tip. 'I tried this a couple of years ago but found you can never really get to the bottom as once the detergent is below the tap, it won't come out. You can tip it, but it only helps a little,' one person said, adding that, 'It goes gunky because you never really empty it.'

But the mum behind the fabulous idea was unfazed, and she offered up a solution. 'I had to run water in it for a little bit because the liquid at first attempt was coming out really slowly. But on the second attempt after the water, it's fast.'

The liquid detergent I buy comes in a bottle with a built in tap. Anything else I use out of a bottle I just leave in the original bottle and tip out what I need as I need it. I would never use glass bottles of any kind in the laundry or bathroom for fear of dropping it on the tiles, would splinter everywhere and take a lot of cleaning up. I have vinyl in my kitchen, dining area and use as little glass containers as possible in these areas.
