Angas Plains SA 5255

Angas Plains is a dot on the map situated between Strathalbyn and Langhorne Creek. The main claim to fame is the local wineries in the region. If you have a willing designated driver it is very easy to spend a day wine tasting.
If you’re looking for a pub for lunch you would need to head to either Strathalbyn or Langhorne Creek.
Weather wise winter is freezing cold but is usually comfortable during summer with the breeze off the lakes
P.S. I’ve done my bit for the wineries in the area 🤩🤩🤩🤣🤣🤣

Currency Creek SA

. 84 kilometres from Adelaide Currency Creek is now a well-established wine region, home to One Paddock and several other popular wineries and cellar doors. Currency Creek is a township and locality in South Australia on the western shore of Lake Alexandrina about 6 km north of Goolwa, beside a seasonal stream bearing the same name – Currency Creek – which flows into Lake Alexandrina.

There is as very old homestead, near the creek, that has been restored, many years ago, to its original glory. The building is not open to tourists but you can get a nice view of the exterior. But if nothing else, sampling the product from the local region is a must
