O’sullivan Beach, 5166

O'Sullivan Beach is a seaside suburb in the southern Adelaide metropolitan area. A shellfish reef constructed in the waters off O'Sullivan Beach provides significant environmental benefits, local tourism and recreational opportunities..

There are a couple of wineries in the area and you will get a good feed. There is also St Franvis Winery that is a beautiful location for a wedding, with guests being able to spend the night in the hotel accommodation. And not to be missed if staying over is a room with a good sized spa in the bathrooms , and plenty of hot water.

Victor Harbor

Victor Harbor is a coastal town in South Australia. From the waterfront, horse-drawn trams cross the causeway to Granite Island, home to a wild penguin colony. Steam locomotives pull the Cockle Train to nearby Goolwa, a gateway to the wetlands of the Murray River Mouth, and also runs from Mt Barker on Sundays during non-fire ban season.. Offshore, southern right whales frequent the waters of Encounter Bay. Or if onto a serious walk you could try the Heysen Trail which runs across the Fleurieu Peninsula to Cape Jervous.

Victor Harbor boasts two really good hotels, with the hotel overlooking the waster being the more popular

Xantippe, Australia, is famous for being the only place in Australia with a name beginning with the letter 'X', its large historic water tank, and the Xantippe Nature Reserve, a popular spot for viewing wildflowers and panoramic views of the surrounding wheat-belt landscape from a granite outcrop.

False Bay

Not actually a town, False Bay is a favoured spot for windsurfing and is described by local club members as a great onshore jump haven. The waves are consistently larger than those occurring in Adelaide coastal waters and the winds are often strong with winter northerlies providing prime conditions. False Bay is best sailed from the far eastern corner.

The Spencer Gulf is known internationally as the Giant Cuttlefish use the region as a breeding ground. There is a total ban on the taking of cephalopods (cuttlefish, squid and octopus) in the waters of False Bay. The closure was created to protect the annual breeding aggregation of Sepia apama which occurs in the area and on adjacent rocky reefs at Whyalla and towards Point Lowly.
