Little town on the Fleurieu Peninsula. The General Store is a good place to eat but there’s no pub!

Gelorup
is a semi-rural town located approx. 164 kms from Perth and is home to some amazing Tuart trees that are up to 300 years old and pre-date the colonial settlement.
Known for its flora and fauna Five Mile Brook Paperbark Forest which has an abundant display of wildflowers during the spring months.

Inglewood Inn is a superb restaurant to dine and spend time in. There is outdoor seating available if you want to soak up the ambience of the Hills. No actual pub in Inglewood but why get a counters when you can dine at the Inn. Well worth the visit 😀

Slap band in the middle of the Murray Mallee. Great community, great pub and yes, you can get a great meal there. Drought conditions are meaning the community is in quite a vulnerable situation at the moment.

On the mighty Murray River. Tourism focused. Nice hotels and they do good food, really good food.

Oakbank.

The pub at Balhannah is good, top feed, and going the other direction, the Woodside pub is good. Nothing much to say about the Oakbank pub though!

Queenstown.

Western suburb of Adelaide. No pub there but several in the vicinity with some good options for a feed.

I think I’ve mentioned this place before. Tiny township in the Adelaide Hills with an absolutely top pub. Best meals and good service, and the wheelchair accessible toilet is not used as a store room and has plenty of space. 😁😁
