ALDI launches much-awaited 'fakeaway' menu range, but it won't be around for long!

We all have those nights when we simply can't muster the time or energy to prepare dinner for ourselves. It's perfectly fine; we deserve a break and a treat every now and then!

However, as much as we might crave the convenience of having takeout delivered to our doorstep, the reality is that it often doesn't align with our everyday budget.

Fortunately, ALDI is here to the rescue!

They've introduced a limited-edition line of 'fakeaway' products—a more cost-effective and healthier alternative for those nights when cooking up a feast feels like a daunting task.

ALDI Shopping Expert Kylie Warnke shared that this idea was born from ‘listening’ to their customers who wished to bring some excitement to their dinner tables without emptying their wallets.

'We should all be able to enjoy a treat from time to time, so our latest Limited Time Only range is chock-a-block full of classic “fakeaway” favourites at incredibly low prices,' she said.

So what type of tasty 'fakeaways' can you expect to find at your local ALDI?

I recently found a great side dish at Aldi for just $5.99. The best fried rice you'll ever taste. Fully loaded with vegetables and meats. Even shrimps are in this rice.

Not for me I make my own fried rice it doesn’t take long !too scared I’d get food poisoning. Rice is one of the worst things for salmonella etc and especially with shrimps in it 😁
