The dairy product in question is the Le Pave — a creamy soft cheese that is being sold in 200g packets — that was first made available in 2018.
Fast forward a few years, the item is now part of the regular products in the budget retailer's cheese range.
However, Aldi fans noted that the cheese is only available in limited quantities, urging them to look for alternatives for the brand.

However, a number of shoppers said that while the new cheese is good, it's not good enough to overtake the Le Pave in popularity.
One comment read: “I love it. It will never replace my much loved Le Pave but it will do nicely for now.”
“Yum, but it’s definitely no Le Pave!” another quipped.
L'Ovale was first released as part of Aldi's December catalogue.
The budget retailer has yet to mention if the item is only available in limited quantities.
However, an Aldi spokesperson said that the supermarket was thrilled to hear that their customers love the new French cheese addition.
“This is a delicate soft cheese that we have introduced to our everyday range, produced in the rolling hills of France’s Limousin region, by a family that has been making this authentic style for generations,” a spokesperson said.
“It is a cow’s milk cheese that has been made using the highest quality natural ingredients. It’s simply exceptional quality at a really exceptional price.”
