Airfryer roasts

Living in a caravan on the road my airfryer is magic.
My roasts are usually small as I have a 3.2l ONKO fryer.
so, my now not so secret?
I always use a remote digital thermometer. all roast 68-69C
The airfryer set down to 120-130 for a slow cook to get the extra tenderness, which means resetting the timer a few times until the remote beeps>
I've just done a beef roast as above settings/
Mmmmm and with Bearnaise sauce OhhhhMG.
For pork, the crackling can be removed and put back in at 160 -180 until done. Incidentally I no longer score it, just leave the open belly/roast in the fridge for at least 24 hrs then oil and salt.
Oh, and I also use said thermomter for my carrot cake,. and date loaf - 93 -96C

Are you able to get a Kmart as they have some recipe books with well setout instructions, photographs?
That is what I did and progressed from there.

Thank you for that. I also love my two airfryers....would marry them if I could ;) I know of a couple of people who just were not impressed with theirs; something I just could not understand as everyone else thinks they are the best thing since sliced bread. I use mine every day; at least once a day. Last night I used it to brown cashews to go with my Chines meal. Also during the day I put in a frozen loaf of sourdough....just ran it under the tap and shook off any excess and then into the airfryer at 190 degrees for 8 minutes each side. Let it cool down and you woud swear was just out of the overn freshly made. Also heated up frozen vegetarian sausage rolls for lunch. I always cook my lamb chops in there as well.

Love my air fryer. I only purchased it last year. Previously, I always thought it was a gimmick.
On the contrary. It saves me cleaning the oven when I cook chicken - as the air fryer is a breeze to clean.

Chips is something that I don't cook lol
Every air fryer has instructions with individual food weight measurements.
With my air fryer I can cook 1.2kg of roast root vegetables in 30 minutes eg. potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots and pumpkin. This lasts a few meals.
I cook 2kg of chicken drumsticks and wings for 38 minutes.
A whole chicken 1.6kg for 60 minutes.
Small homemade pizzas for 5 minutes.
These are just a few examples ;)

Feel sorry for you, as mine is easy to clean, takes only a few minutes to clean all removable parts, basket etc. Maybe a matter of choice when buying an air fryer; cheap is not always the best. I bought a top of the range model, expensive to some people, but I am entirely happy with my choice, after I had thoroughly researched various makes and models over several months.

I have had a Devanti 5.7 litre (after purchasing a small one originally). Found this is the right size for two of us. It is a drawer type. I line the bottom of the airfryer with foil and then the basket goes on top and then I always use baking paper with holes punched in it placed in the bottom of the basket when I cook. I only usually have to wash the basket after spraying with a degreaser and letting sit for 5 mins and then the basket is filled with hot water and detergent and then washed. No problem for me.
