Air fryer

Using an air fryer makes cooking chicken and vegetables easy.

  • For 2 kg of chicken pieces (drumsticks or wings), cook at 200°C for 38-42 minutes, shaking once during cooking.

  • For a 1.6 kg whole chicken, cook at 200°C for 60 minutes. Place the chicken upside down so the legs are tucked under. After 30 minutes, turn it over, then spray with olive oil and season with salt and pepper again. This prevents the legs from overcooking.

  • For 1.2 kg of root vegetables (potato, sweet potato, pumpkin, carrots), cook at 180°C for 28-30 minutes, shaking three times during cooking.

Simply spray all items with extra virgin olive oil and season with salt and pepper before cooking.

My kids use the airfryer daily, strangely I like the normal oven I'm guessing it's because of what I'm use to
Will try this though
That's easy. I don't use mine daily though, as I like stir fries etc. Sometimes I make small pizzas in the air fryer, which are quick.
My sole purpose of buying an air fryer was for cooking chicken. I detest cleaning the oven after chicken splattering. Air fryers are easier to clean after use.
