library, though I suspect more stories are now stored in databases in warehouses than in libraries.

At 2k per page, a 500-page novel will be 1MB in plain text or slightly larger with formatted text. Since most novels are well under 500 pages, you could fit more than 1000 e-books per gigabyte. 1TB is actually 931GB. You would still be able to fit well over a million of them on a TB of drive space.

So I suspect some sort of "warehouse"
