Achieve high-end beauty on a budget with ALDI’s latest skincare

Finding products that deliver on their promises without draining the wallet is akin to striking gold in beauty and skincare.

For those who appreciate the finer things in life but are also wise to the value of a dollar, ALDI's latest skincare range is creating quite the buzz.

The German supermarket chain, known for its cost-effective solutions to everyday needs, now offers a skincare line that's turning heads and raising eyebrows—not just because of its anti-aging properties!

On 4 May, ALDI shelves will be graced with the LACURA® Skin Science HA5+ range, a collection already causing a stir among beauty enthusiasts.

If you haven't heard of it yet, you're in for a treat, as this range is being touted as the affordable alternative to some of the most coveted high-end brands.

The HA5+ range is ALDI's answer to the luxury skincare market, offering a suite of products that boast similar benefits to Lancome's Rénergie Skincare Range at a fraction of the cost.

For instance, Lancome's Rénergie Yeux Eye Cream retails at $136, while ALDI's HA5+ Hyaluronic Intense Hydration Eye Cream is $14.99 for a 15ml tub.

It's no wonder that beauty bargain hunters are eagerly awaiting its release, with some even making multiple trips to their local ALDI in hopes of an early release.

But what's the secret behind the HA5+ range's allure?

The answer lies in its potent blend of ingredients. Each product in the collection contains not one but five different types of hyaluronic acid, a powerhouse component renowned for its moisture-retaining properties.

Hyaluronic acid is a skincare staple because it deeply hydrates the skin, leaving it looking plump, radiant, and youthful.

In addition to hyaluronic acid, the range includes Acacia, a botanical known for its skin-tightening effects.

The full lineup includes the aforementioned eye cream, the HA5+ Hyaluronic Intense Hydration Serum (50ml, $19.99) for a non-greasy lifting effect, and the HA5+ Hyaluronic Intense Hydration Day or Night Cream (50ml, $19.99) to moisturise and protect from UV rays and to lock in moisture overnight.

Deborah Heng, ALDI Australia’s Beauty Buying Director, has expressed pride in the company's commitment to providing high-performing, affordable skincare.

‘We are proud to consistently bring high performing, affordable skincare products to our customers making the latest trends in skincare accessible to Aussies at an amazing price point,’ she said.

‘The range starting at just $14.99, includes four new products that contain an exclusive formulation that is composed of five different Hyaluronic Acids to help keep your skin incredibly hydrated for a healthy, moisturised feel.’

The anticipation is palpable among ALDI's clientele, with many expressing their eagerness to try the products.

One shopper mentioned her strategy, saying, ‘I sometimes get lucky, and they put it out earlier, but this time they're holding onto the items until the official day.’

‘I can't wait for this range to come out—it looks so hydrating and exactly what my skin needs. And their beauty products always seem to be a great dupe of other more expensive items, so I'm confident it will be good,’ another shopper said.

This collection comes after ALDI released its Streetwear Collection, ALDImania, on 13 April.

The streetwear collection is set to include various items just in time for the cooler months, with hoodies, sweatshirts, and track pants that promise to keep shoppers warm and stylish.

Ahhh! The new fangled "hyaluronic acid" raises it ugly head. It is a close relative to glucosamine, which is commonly used as a joint "lubricant. It occurs naturally in the human body at the concentration of 0.02%.

Meanwhile, there is insufficient data that shows hyaluronic acid aids in wound repair and limited clinical evidence as a skin repair agent. Just some clever marketing will fool most people. For those who buy savagely priced Lancome products - sucko!!
