Woolworths seems to know how to pull the bunny from the hat!
The supermarket chain has come up with a new way to save hundreds from your next regular shop by adding an element of surprise.
Woolworths has launched a new 'Spin Surprise' game that’s available until October 30 exclusively for members of its popular Everyday Rewards program.
The game gives shoppers who have opted to bank their points for Christmas a chance to spin the wheel on the Everyday Rewards app each week for the next two weeks and potentially score huge bonus points to put towards their Christmas shopping.
The Everyday Rewards program allows customers to earn 1 point for every $1 spent in stores on select items.
Points can be redeemed for dollars off groceries or other items from Everyday Rewards partners such as BIG W and Everyday Market.
Members also stand the chance to boost an offer and collect $100 in Everyday Rewards points.
But many members choose the Bank for Christmas option so they have more to spend during the holidays.
Over 750,000 people have already decided to bank points for the holidays, which marks a 20 per cent increase from last year, with many already banking $100 on average to spend this upcoming Christmas.
'Bank for Christmas is the perfect way for shoppers to plan and prepare for the most expensive time of year,' Glenn Baker, Everyday Rewards General Manager, said.
'By simply opting to bank their points for Christmas, members can save hundreds of dollars, activate bonus points offers and shop specials, ensuring they get in early to celebrate the festive season.'
To opt into Bank for Christmas, you can follow the steps below:
Fret not if you are unable to use your points this coming festive season—after January 1, 2024, all remaining unused points will still be saved so you can spend it on the next Christmas season.
Don’t forget, you only have until October 30 to spin the wheel and get the chance to win bonus points.
Good luck, dear members!
