A-list star spotted on a commercial flight in Australia — and people are applauding!

The name Ed Sheeran might not ring a bell – but trust us, the guy's a superstar! The chart-topping singer-songwriter was recently spotted on a commercial flight in Australia, and he's won over even more fans with his humble attitude.

The 32-year-old star was flying from Ballina Airport to Sydney, presumably to continue wowing audiences on his Mathematics tour. But despite his astronomical success, Sheeran clearly hasn't let fame go to his head.

In fact, he tried to keep a low profile on the flight by wearing a cap and sunglasses. But it was too late – eagle-eyed fans had already spotted him!

Of course, rather than causing a scene or demanding special treatment, Sheeran simply settled into his seat like any other passenger. And that's what's really won over his admirers on social media.

They're praising him for his down-to-earth attitude and for foregoing a private jet in favour of a regular old commercial flight.

'This guy could easily fly in a private jet but he didn't. What a humble man!' exclaimed one Twitter user. And another chimed in, 'I think we need to normalise this and accept celebrities using commercial flights like we do – this way we can help our environment!'

It looks like Ed Sheeran is a regular guy after all! Apparently, this isn't the first time he's flown commercially.

According to one fan on social media, they spotted Sheeran on a Jetstar flight to Queenstown, New Zealand, around six years ago. The fan couldn't help but gush over the singer's humble demeanour, saying, 'No airs or graces, just sat in row 1 minding his own business.'

It's always refreshing to see celebrities behaving like regular people, especially when they have the resources to live a much more lavish lifestyle. Sheeran's decision to fly commercial instead of using a private jet is certainly a commendable one, and it's clear that his fans appreciate it.

With a net worth of $292 million, Sheeran could easily afford to travel in style, but it's heartening to see him taking a more eco-friendly and relatable approach.

It just goes to show that you don't have to be flashy or pretentious to be a true superstar – sometimes, it's the small acts of kindness and humility that really set you apart.

Ed Sheeran's Australian tour was more than just sold-out shows and commercial flights – the superstar also found time to give back to his fans in a big way.

After spending a relaxing weekend with his wife Cherry Seaborn and their two children in Byron Bay, Sheeran surprised patients and their families at the Queensland Children's Hospital.

Sheeran spent two hours at the hospital, singing with kids, taking photos with them, and signing autographs. One lucky fan even got to sing a duet with him as he played the notes to 'Thinking Out Loud' on his guitar.

According to one young patient, Sheeran was 'very friendly' and the visit was like a dream come true.

It's heartening to see celebrities using their fame for good, and Sheeran's hospital visit is a great example of that. It's clear that he's not just a talented musician, but also a genuinely kind and compassionate person.

After his hospital visit, Sheeran went on to perform two sold-out shows to 170,000 fans at Accor Stadium in Sydney. It's safe to say that he left a lasting impression on his fans in Australia, both on and off the stage.

We can't wait to see what he does next!
