Sweet and Sour Pork chops with Cabbage
3-6 mid loin Pork chops or similar
Salt and pepper
1 Medium onion
1/2 cup of vinegar
850 mils can of tomato juice
1/4 finely chopped cabbage
2 tablespoons of sugar
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
4 chunky potatoes chopped in to quarters
Throw in a dash of oil in to large fry pan
Lightly brown pork chops on both sides to seal the meat
Pour tomatoe juice in to a jug
Add 1/2 cup of vinegar to jug
Add 1 tablespoon of worcestershire sauce
Add 2 tablespoons of sugar
Stir jug
Add and stir in salt and pepper to taste
Finely chop 1/4 cabbage. Add finely chopped onion to cabbage.
Place cabbage on top of chops, pouring jug mix over everything and simmer for 40 minutes.
Boil up chopped potato until cooked through. Must still be firm enough that you can scoop pieces out
Remove and plate up chops, stir cabbage one more time and put on plate partially covering chops.
Serve up some potato pieces and cover everything from sauces in frypan.
