A bride commits a huge risque blunder on her wedding invitations – ‘I’m sorry, mum!’
- Replies 8
Ahhh… There’s nothing more magical than the day we tie the knot with the love of our lives. Seeing as it’s one of life’s most special milestones, most couples opt to plan their weddings months in advance.
Even so, we’re bound to commit a few errors here and there. So if you’ve struggled with a few rough patches before or during your wedding, at least it’s probably not as bad as this bride’s x-rated blunder.
One bride-to-be is certainly blushing but for all the wrong reasons. Sharing her embarrassing slip-up in a TikTok video, the woman initially bragged about how ‘cute’ her wedding invitation looked… But upon closer inspection, she noticed a small but humiliating detail printed on them.
Instead of directing guests to a website to RSVP, she accidentally printed a link to a popular adult website.
‘I got my wedding invitations in the mail today. Super exciting,’ she can be heard saying in the clip.
‘Except I made a very large mistake that I'm going to share with you guys so other brides don't make the same mistake… I'm sure it's super common.’

The bride then pans her camera to the bottom of the card, admitting that she jokingly put the adult website in as a placeholder and forgot to switch it to her wedding website.
But that’s not the only detail she failed to update… She also confessed to forgetting to update the information written in the accommodations section. Instead of naming a dreamy hotel that any guest would look forward to, her card listed a dodgy motel.
‘Cute detail card. I love all the details,’ she said while holding up a second card. ‘I forgot that I put a motel as a placeholder as well until we figured out which hotel we were going to choose.’
‘If you’re our guest, I promise that we didn’t book a room at the motel,’
‘And if you’re my mum – I’m sorry, I’ll fix it.’

Many found the bride’s silly mistake hilarious, flooding the comments section of her post with their reactions.
‘I think this is hilarious! I checked my invites 1000 times before I finalised it because I did the same thing!’ one person shared.
‘D*mn, I was really looking forward to staying at the motel…’ teased another.
‘Personally, I’d leave it. The wedding will be cheaper and only the fun people will show up!’ joked a third, while a fourth chimed: ‘I didn’t realise that I was invited to your wedding since I go to your website daily.’
However, several wondered how the mistake could have possibly been made.
‘Omg. Who spell-checked this? Anyone?’ one commented.
‘Aren’t wedding invitations kinda expensive to not bother proofreading before ordering and mailing out?’ another asked.
Some TikTokers criticised the bride, pointing out that the invitation was riddled with errors and spelling mistakes.
‘Sis, that card needs to run through a spell check.’ a user sneered.
‘Something tells me that this isn’t as common as you made it seem.’ another added.
‘Please hire someone to do this for you.’ a third suggested.
