C. - While some worms, like
flatworms, can regenerate both head and tail from a cut, common earthworms (
Annelids) generally cannot. If an earthworm is cut, the half containing the head may regenerate a tail, but the tail half will likely die.
D. - While the ocean is incredibly biodiverse and supports a significant amount of life, particularly in the form of animals and microbes, it only accounts for a small percentage of the total living biomass on Earth.
