After Tiana-Kate had collected the supplies from her local Bunnings, all that was left to do was to get stuck in and create!

Tiana-Kate began her work by horizontally gluing the two timber pieces together using glue to increase their width, after which she left them to dry.

Once the glue had dried, Tiana-Kate proceeded to varnish the top before fixing the steel legs in place.

And to add the finishing touch, she placed a decorative centrepiece on top.

BUT!! The advice says to ask for help frm friends family etc - it does not tell you where or how to find help when you hv NO family, no ‘handy’ male friends or neighbours (IT consultants & hospitality males do not know how to use drills, hammers, or even Velcro)!
Men’s Sheds and Bunnings are banned by law frm showing anyone how to operate a drill, do dowels, or any other handy stuff. Modern males can do wonders with mobile phones, but not anything else! I hate it when facetious male Bunnings staff state “ask yr husband to help you” or “Haven’t you got a boyfriend, neighbour or brother to help you?”
NO! Why wld I be asking Bunnings for help IF I had a man anywhere to ask in the first place?!
Females do not automatically hv anyone to help, that is why they are forced to do it all by themselves.
There are no classes to learn “handy” skills, no courses anywhere and this is wrong. Women want and need to learn to use tools properly- but the law refuses to permit it.

Well done & looks like a solid construction. The only drawbacks for me would be:- if this frame is used, use 4 screws to fasten the timber on if this wasn't already done (2 in each board), use table legs which aren't just screwed into the table through the tube frame but have 2 plates welded onto the top of the frame which screws can be fastened through to attach the timber top.

Another concern is that with the type of attachment shown, in the unlikely event a heavy impact came from any end of the table, the table would crash ripping the screws from the timber & possibly damage the frame as well.
