10 ways to deal with tooth ache butci found the best is clove oil or powder on the tooth

1- A cold compress is effective for any type of pain you suffer from. Use an ice pack or place ice cubes in a plastic bag and cover it with a thin cloth, then apply it to the painful tooth for 15 minutes to numb the nerves.

2- Mint tea smells very good and has anesthetic properties. Add 1 teaspoon of dried mint leaves to a cup of boiling water and let it steep for 20 minutes. Then use the mixture to rinse your mouth.

3- Hydrogen peroxide is an analgesic that will help you control the unpleasant sensation. Not only can this reduce plaque, but it can also heal bleeding gums and kill bad bacteria. You can use it as a mouthwash. Mix 3% hydrogen peroxide with the same amount of water. Do not swallow the mixture. When you spit it out, make sure to rinse your mouth with water several times.

4- Clove has been used for years to treat toothache, as it contains eugenol, a natural antiseptic. Use a small amount of clove powder on the tooth or chew the whole clove to release its oil. Additionally, you can use a small amount of clove oil, about two drops, and place it on the problem area until the pain subsides.

5- Guava leaves have anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. They not only reduce dental pain, but they also relieve mouth ulcers and swollen gums. You can simply chew a guava leaf or two until the juice starts to release onto the problem tooth and takes effect. Or, you can place a few guava leaves in boiling water, wait for the liquid to cool, then add a little sea salt. Use this solution as a mouthwash.

6- Its antibacterial and anti-oxidant properties make thyme an excellent treatment for toothache. Mix a few drops of thyme essential oil with water on a piece of cotton. Once the oil is diluted, apply the cotton to the painful area.

7- Wheatgrass has antibacterial properties, which provide short and long term benefits, which will prevent the appearance of cavities and relieve pain. For best results, chew wheatgrass directly or use its juice as a mouthwash.

8- Garlic kills dangerous bacteria and works as a pain reliever. The best method to use it is to prepare a homogeneous paste and place it on the affected area or simply gently chew a pod.

9- Salt water is a natural disinfectant, and it is also an easy and effective remedy to treat a toothache. This is to mix half a teaspoon of salt in a glass of warm water and use it as a mouthwash. This helps prevent swelling and cleans the area around the painful tooth.

10- Onion contains phyto-chemical substances which target the germs responsible for oral infections and which relieve pain. Cut a piece of onion and chew it on the painful side of your mouth. This allows the juice from the onion to penetrate your tooth.

11- Press and support the point behind the outer ankle bone for about a minute with the tip of your finger. You can also try pressing the point between the base of your thumb and index finger on the back of your hand using the thumb of your other hand.
