Scam Alert: "I Have a Video of You" — Don't Fall for It! ​

Imagine opening your email and seeing a message that says:
"We caught you watching adult content. We recorded you. Pay now or we send the video to all your contacts!"


Relax.
It’s a scam.


Scammers send mass emails like this, hoping to scare people into paying money.
They claim to have hacked your computer or camera — but in reality, they have nothing.
They sometimes even include an old password (leaked in past data breaches) to make it look convincing.


What you should do:

• Don’t reply.
• Don’t pay.
• Change your passwords if you feel uneasy, especially on old accounts.
• Report the email as phishing/spam.

Remember:
Real hackers don’t warn you.
Scammers use fear and shame as weapons — don’t let them win!
