‘I was at home having a few beers and I thought, how can I drum up more business?’ he said.
Rather than relying on traditional promotions, he decided to make things more interactive.
‘So I thought, why not have a bit of fun with my customers?’ he said.
Celebrating its 40th year, the bakery has long been a staple in the community, with Justin running it for the past decade.
He said the best part of the job was connecting with customers.
Rock, Paper, Scissors felt like the perfect way to engage with people while offering a playful incentive.
‘Rock Paper Scissors is something out of the ordinary, everyone knows how to play, it’s fun and if you win, you get a free pie.’
