Videos of ‘flower dudes’, or men who have been taking the place of a flower girl in a wedding, are currently getting a ton of attention on the social media platform TikTok, and we can’t get enough of them!

One of those videos is from Sam Rosenthal, a New Yorker, who shared a clip of his boyfriend strutting and working his way down the aisle.
“When your boyfriend is asked to be the flower girl at a wedding,” he wrote in the video, which has now been viewed over 2.5 million times.
The video shows his dancing and voguing to the tune of Todrick Hall’s Nails, Hair, Hips, Heels. Then, he went on to make the aisle his dance floor as he struts around, throwing petals everywhere.
The wedding guests clapped and jammed along with the music, and some brought their phones out to record the performance. Others even had flowers thrown at them (but of course, they didn’t mind).
Sam wrote in the caption: “A star is born” and we couldn’t agree more!
Comments flooded in praising the man for his amazing performance.
“He understood the assignment and got an A+,” wrote one user. Another added: “He was the main character!”
One user even inquired about the man’s TikTok account, and Sam replied: “He’s not on here yet so he has no idea he’s a celebrity” along with a bunch of hands-on-lips emojis.
And while Sam’s boyfriend did a fabulous job with his flowery performance, he was not the first person to ride on the trend.
In fact, the hashtag #flowerdude on TikTok has more than 25 million views in total, and is currently filled with similar videos of guys taking on the role of ‘flower girls’ at weddings. With performances like these, you can see why!
