Like you Jan, I am a Lollipop Lady as well but only on a casual basis which for some time, has been more part time than casual ..... unlike you though, I do not get those benefits but yes, the pay is good particularly when you are on a casual rate.... ;) :)

Actually, my son woke up one morning and found that he was stroking something on the floor - turned out that it was a Huntsman spider who appear to be just as frightened of the attention as was my son, once he discovered what he was stroking! :eek:That is not the only frightening episode I have...

I live on the cusp of the Victorian and NSW border. My GP is in NSW and the clinic bulk bills (depending on the client's particular circumstances) ... i.e. pension / DVA / etc.

Although Kerang is relatively small compared to other locations i.e. Bendigo / Ballarat / Geelong etc., there is unfortunately only one ambulance servicing this community. God help anyone if more than one tragic event requiring an ambulance, occurs at the same time .....

I live in Regional Victoria, farming land (Mallee area). Majority of meat is purchased from the local butcher whose family live on such a property - best and most tenderest meat you could possibly buy - fresh as! ;):)
