I believe a reply to the invitation is necessary. The requirements here are no more than what people would normally do at a wedding anyway & don't need to have it dished up in such a rude manner.

Normally if they are squeeking the blades are worn & not cleaning properly leaving smears & missed patches, l believe. Granted squeeking of some type can happen on a dry windscreen with new blades, but without the shudder that accompanies blades that are U/S., from experience.
