This cosmetic surgeon reveals surprising culprit behind rapid ageing

Stress comes in many ways. Commuting to & from work, the work we do or the people in the workplace, homelife & ...... Some people can handle stress better than others. I have always been someone who stresses about most anything & haven't learnt otherwise. I believe a lot of this conditioning is...

Dog groomer faces $7500 fine after shocking treatment to customer’s pet

Sad story, especially for the poor dog. All our furbabies have come from Hostels & we never know what their life was like before they came to us. If Luffy was such a dog he may well have been mistreated in a similar manner before. Even if he wasn't this is still no way to treat any pet...

Young mum bakes cakes for strangers—the reason why will warm your heart!

Yes counselling wasn't easy & l was sort of on call to fill a shift if someone couldn't do it. At that time run out of a Men's Hostel. I believe you & your daughters are marvellous with things you all achieve. Angels in disguise, perhaps? Sorry to hear things didn't quite go as expected. Just...

'What do I do now?': Mum finds 'terrifying' hints of danger in her kitchen

We had rats outside years ago running along the top of the fence when the neighbours had chooks but soon disappeared, thankfully, when they went on holiday & got rid of the chooks before doing so. Guess they did that back in their own country, perhaps?

Young mum bakes cakes for strangers—the reason why will warm your heart!

For a few years l was volunteering on afternoon shifts twice or more weekly for the SALVATION CARELINE TELEPHONE COUNSELLING. This even once included Christmas Day. A very satisfying way to give back to the community. I only stopped when they changed location.

Wash less, freeze more? Cleaning expert unveils the cold truth behind this jeans cleaning trick!

I wear shorts all year round at home or going out. Good shorts may be worn 3 times per week for an average of 4 hours each time. I remove them, turn inside out & hang on a coat hanger in the bathroom with the back out to air before next use & at the end of the week put out for laundering. They...

Grieving mother slams Centrelink’s ‘unfair’ rule: ‘It's very wrong’

Easy isn't it to say, "Why should the Government support everything that goes wrong" isn't it? But that is just what it has done many times in the past! Have people forgotten about the support given to GMH to keep Australians in work when they were going under? What happened there? Didn't they...

    AIBU 29.04.2024

Definitely not the correct action on his part. If he felt he really needed to approach this lady surely a hello & handshake would have sufficed. If she made a move to kiss or embrace your hubby he should then have put his arms up making it clear he didn't want any part of that. HE IS NOW A...

Shocking wedding rules that infuriated guests–are they too harsh?

I believe a reply to the invitation is necessary. The requirements here are no more than what people would normally do at a wedding anyway & don't need to have it dished up in such a rude manner.

Sick of squeaky wiper blades? This Australian wiper blade brand is giving car dealerships a run for their money

Normally if they are squeeking the blades are worn & not cleaning properly leaving smears & missed patches, l believe. Granted squeeking of some type can happen on a dry windscreen with new blades, but without the shudder that accompanies blades that are U/S., from experience.

Debate sizzles after controversial change in Bunnings sausages, splitting opinions in the middle

BUNNINGS DO CONTROL THE PRICE! An article on SDC earlier this year confirmed this point. I too have been a volunteer on one of those sausage sizzles @ a Bunnings store here in W.A. All operators are VOLUNTEERS & THE ONLY REWARD WE GET IS THE SATISFACTION OF KNOWING WE ARE HELPING OUR CLUB OR...

Shocking 'money-saving' tip slammed as 'unhygienic on several levels’

Wouldn't want to be wearing no undies with an upset stomach & not being able to make the toilet in time! Bet you'd wish you were wearing undies then. They do serve more than one purpose, don't they?
