Started at 16 and gave up at 67 - 7 years ago - magically my house is now paid off! Healthwise not too bad but I do get a bit breathless when I go shopping! It took a shoulder replacement op 7 years ago for me to quit - on Oxycontin for 2 weeks and didn't notice I had given up - no withdrawals...

Saw this happen at a Christmas party given for needy children by a well known charity. As a donating business person, I was invited to attend as a spectator - amazing how many families turned up in the flash 4WD limousines to get free presents. Never donated to that organisation again.

It was all a put up job to engender the public sympathy vote - if there was a legit attempt on his life, it would have succeeded.
