Scamwatch will send an automated response with a report number only. I also forward the email messages to the Banks, Optus and PayPal as you can locate details on how to report to the companies. I also take a screenshot and post it on Facebook so people are aware.

I always report the emails to Scamwatch. I copy the email and save it as a pdf and then make a Scamwatch report and upload the pdf.

Scam phone call New scam alert received an automated call claiming to be from CBA. Do not follow any prompts. Block the number immediately. I have reported this to the relevant authorities
