Breaking News: Ahead of FIFA World Cup, Auckland CBD put on lockdown following 'active shooting' incident

Seems that the headline of the email was World Cup Shooting but the headline of the article itself didn’t say that. Still wrong that the email headline was sensationalised

Woolworths abandons plans to produce all paper bags in Australia

Reading the article it sounds like (hopefully) it’s a temporary issue until australia can keep up with the manufacturing demand, so I’m not sure why this has to be highlighted as an issue and definitely doesn’t deserve the title that Woolworths Abandons plans to manufacture in Australia. I...

Woolworths abandons plans to produce all paper bags in Australia

At least one Woolworths in Adelaide (brickworks) has a large amount of boxes available at the checkouts to use - more should do it. Maybe where they used to have the soft plastic recycling collection ! My sister and I used to shop for the family in our bikes, with boxes on our carriers 😊and...

If we should be worried about balloons and the environmental impact then I say save balloons for kids - they have so much fun with them - and ban them for anyone over 10 😊.

Has your favourite meal become more expensive? Delivery apps could be to blame!

The commissions the food delivery apps charge the restaurant or fish shop etc aren’t just passed on to those who have their food delivered. Their prices go up for instore purchases too to help recover these outrageous costs, impacting those who are able and prepared to pick up their food. So...

Are You One Of The Many Australians Who Never Learned To Swim? Here’s How To Get Started

Omg that is just a terrible experience but so good on you for going to the pool now, that’s an amazing thing for you to have achieved 🥇🥇Please keep going. I love to spend some time while I am at the pool focussing on how soft the water is - try that 😊.

Electronic payments are taking over: Is cash no longer king?

The grandkids get sooooo excited when they are given money …. Without cash how do they really learn the value of money. I remember my son as a 3 year old in 1988 walking past a house for sale with me and asking if we could buy it because he liked it. I said we didn’t have enough money and...

Oh please give it a go. It’s such a wonderful thing to do and so good for everyone in their “older” age.

Lost your padding? Kmart's memory cushion has got your back - literally!

I have a foam knee pillow that I sleep with every night. I put it in a pillow case folded over as that is easier to get off and wash rather than the fitted cover it comes with. Would putting your “bum” cushion in a pillow case help avoid the zip ??

Lost your padding? Kmart's memory cushion has got your back - literally!

I bought one last week without seeing any reviews (just giggled it) but it’s been outside airing as the memory foam is a bit stinky when new. I have a chronic glute problem that also affects my hip so sitting on hard seats is torture, eg wooden or thinly padded dining chairs. I’m hoping this...
