‘Boomer hour’? Age-exclusive shopping hours proposal generates ageism backlash

The younger generation of today are so out of touch with reality. Some of us get carer assistance with groceries and we do not get a choice of a specific time slot to shop, we take what we are given. Although quite the senior myself, I have been held up by an elderly person before.....but I...

What did this Coles shopper do that had everyone debating?

I would take mine everywhere if possible, but common sense prevails.. so not in the supermarket or in the trolley for hygene reasons. Guess it's better than leaving them in a car whilst you shop...which I see often. I did not know that spermarket staff cannot approach you, that explains why...

Australians brace for all-in-one digital ID system

Just an easier way for gov to know everything you do, apply for, receive, travel to, access for things, health access, how & what you spend, etc; etc;. Some seniors would not be able to cope with this digital ID decision. Some don't use their phones for anything but phone calls. Some do not...

Is Woolworths duping you with this 'cheeky' new tactic? One customer thinks so!

Totally agree with Jarrod's story. It is price gouging & as an ER's member I have found the same thing in store. The exclusive members pricing is totally B.S. You need to check ticket pricing every time..don't assume it is a bargain that week..often it is cheaper if you purchased two at...

Could 'Cash Stuffing' be the money-saving trick you need?

I "cash stuff" $50 per week in actual cash. I have used this to pay for unexpected repairs around home, unexpected new appliances like fridge, washer. It adds up over time and I don't miss it, been doing this for years. My next goal with it is to travel interstate to visit my son.
