I never 'baked' Fairy bread! Whomever wrote this is silly.
My recipe for Fairy Bread (passed down through countless generations) is ......slice fresh bread, butter lavishly and sprinkle with hundreds and thousands.
I still eat it often when I am hypo.

I loved my waterbed for years, until the heater broke irrepairably and the cold made my bones ache. Now i have a standard mattress with a bamboo overlay that is very cosy to lay on under my feather doona. ;-]
Milk at school
I remember when the milk was left out in the hot sun and we were made to drink it curdled. I hated it and now vomit if I smell off milk.
The idea was good but execution was ghastly!
