How are so many businesses allowed to get so far in debt. Surely when auditors spot mounting debt they should be legally forced to notify the appropriate Govt. Dept. so action can be taken.

I wouldn't guarantee that the bill is correct. I know somebody who got a small refund then got a bill. The Bill was for more than he even earnt in 2 years so he ignored it. At the same time there was thousands of people complaining about it At one stage there was talk of class action.
