Your money isn’t safe: Sophisticated scheme flooding Australian shops

Good for you, so what, who cares. So I'm not living? How am I typing this? What a ridiculous comment, you have no idea what my life involves, yet you think you know, lol, idiot.

Your money isn’t safe: Sophisticated scheme flooding Australian shops

And no one is stopping or trying to stop you from doing that. I just use my credit card for every transaction, keeps track of all transactions, have ample balance always to pay for daily things and pay it off every month. Zero fees on the card, zero interest. There will always be dinosaurs in...

Your money isn’t safe: Sophisticated scheme flooding Australian shops

No one is forcing you to use electronic monetary transactions, so what's the problem? And no one has said cash is going anywhere, the only people saying that are the idiots with conspiracy theories who keep repeating the same old rubbish, for years now.

Your money isn’t safe: Sophisticated scheme flooding Australian shops

From the article you read, supposedly.

Your money isn’t safe: Sophisticated scheme flooding Australian shops

Still a problem, and they are the ones seized only. Maybe we shouldn't use cash, lose it gone forever, counterfeit if noticed, gone forever. The vast majority of scams are because of people's stupidity.

Why Australian drivers are seeing red over blinding SUV feature

How are they different that it affects this? The more lanes the better, those opposing vehicles are further away, creating less of this supposed problem.

Why Australian drivers are seeing red over blinding SUV feature

Doesn't you car have a dimming mirror, either electronically or manual? I don't see the problem.

Could slower streets save lives? The push for 30km/h zones gains momentum

Slower speeds in metro areas do not increase travel times much as you often slow down to that type of speed anyway, you have to stop at lights, intersections, etc so the difference between 50, 40 and 30 is not as much as it sounds. When I worked in road surveying I drove hundred's of thousands...

The great camera mystery: Why Australian drivers are more confused than ever about what's watching them

OMG, another one who can't read. The cameras are NOT enforcement cameras, they are traffic monitoring cameras, instead of pneumatic road tubes which have been used for decades. The cameras allow traffic numbers AND traffic mix, ie cars, trucks, buses, etc.

The great camera mystery: Why Australian drivers are more confused than ever about what's watching them

Did you actually read the article, these cameras have nothing to do with enforcement, they are counting vehicles, using cameras means they can count types of vehicles as well. Counting vehicles has been going on since I was a kid at least when they had the cables across the road. But everyone...

Confusion grows over what drivers can really wear behind the wheel

Yet again this page quotes incorrect information. Note for NSW the fines for Rule 297(1) are $562 and phone use is $423. NOT $1209, that is for QLD and is now $1251 anyway.

When being scam-smart backfires: $6.40 coffee that changed everything

Yes the article stated it's a government requirement, that means all bank accounts. Yes, most people do receive their mail, but plenty don't. Most people don't crash their car, plenty do. Most people are not robbed, plenty are, etc, etc ,etc. People have been told not to click on links, correct...

When being scam-smart backfires: $6.40 coffee that changed everything

I'm sorry but you can't expect millions of people to front up to their bank branch. Sending out letters, mail boxes have mail stolen regularly. Actually safer to do it online with multi factor authentication.

Seniors could pay 60 to 80 per cent tax on extra pension income—are you prepared?

Exactly, the level of intelligence on this page is very low.

Too thick, that's funny coming from someone with your grammar and spelling.

Member's Question: 'Does she have to keep her house to receive a Capital Gains Discount?'

These types of questions should not be asked here, you get people opinions, what they think the case is and you end up with multiple answers. The ATO has a fantastic website, everything is there to see, just take a little time to research the answer for the particular situation.

Seniors could pay 60 to 80 per cent tax on extra pension income—are you prepared?

Look at all the morons blaming the current government as if this all started recently. The way the pension works hasn't changed much for years, you lose 50 cents in the dollar over set limits, those limits increase regularly. This has been going on for as long as I can remember, through BOTH...
