    There has been a lot of shoplifting in my local Kmart, it wouldn't worry me about the gates because Coles already does it. If you are going to thieve, there has to be some deterrent. Just makes the people who are honest more aware of how serious the problem has become.

    In my Coles, at the manned check out, the operator just punches the item in, for e xample litter, and the price comes up on his screen and he adds it to my total, no need for doing it any order or lifting by him or me.. I buy multiple bags of litter at a time. So what is going to happen now...

    Somewhere down our street in Brisbane is a wood fire and depending on the type of wood they burn, it can be putrid. As an asthmatic, I stay locked up but the smell permeates into the unit. I grew up with a wood fire but don't remember it smelling so foul.

    You can still buy darning wool, albeit it is hard to get. I mend all my clothese and take them all up. The manufacturers in Kmart think I must be 10 feet tall, so my slacks all need repairs, sadly.
