When live TV goes wrong: News hosts caught chatting about holidays while on air

Can you please tell me how this "show" has become one of Straya's favourites? Oh, I know what the answer is ... it has so much appeal to the LCD. Seeing the reaction when a tame, coached audience goes into orgasmic raptures when a contestant correctly gets or guesses the answer to a...

Tesla owners fight back: The $10,100 promise that never delivered

Must be legal over there in Trumpland to have your phone stuck up on your windscreen, obscuring part of your view of the road. Combine that with the pretty picture on display showing things in real time in front of you. A great distraction. So, what do you do ... leave the driving up to the car...

Empty prison beds while crime soars: The proposal that's got Victorians fuming

"Take away the 5 Star conveniences, et cetera": that almosr sounds like you reckon that people deliberately choose to pick out crime as a way of life above all others so they can graduate to that kind of living. Yes, I know that modern practices of incarceration seem to make life a lot better...

Seniors could pay 60 to 80 per cent tax on extra pension income—are you prepared?

Rather, it'd make their day. This kind of letter, if it ultimately reaches the one it's meant to reach, simply reinforces the mindset of those safe-in-their-jobs public servants in power over us. "Let 'em eat cake!"

    Dear Members beware

"Addy", I suppose, is one of the latest examples of shortening as many good, strong words into meaningless modern drivelspeak for the sake of it. Obviously short for "address", but why? Too stressful to type the whole word? Not educated enough to spell the word correctly?

It’s not just pensions: How deeming quietly drives up Aged Care fees

I'll amend my original post ... life seems to be pretty easy for politicians and high-up public "servants".

    Dear Members beware

Sooner or later the scammongrels will work out a way whereby an email with a legit "from" address finds a way to snare you in their grubby bloody hands without any action from you other than to simply receive the message in the first place.

The Aussie dad who lost his wedding fund to a $945 million scam epidemic targeting Australian seniors

The intro on the home page says "All it took was walking by ... and Penny4's card was skimmed", Another cut and paste job for this article? Please explain, like the redhead said.

End-of-life choices: Only 1 in 6 aged care homes tell you about THIS life-altering choice

"Simples," as that new Strayan resident says. If you don't want to know anything about it, then just don't read anything about it. If you hear anything about it on the rayjo or the teevee, just stick your fngers in your ears until the danger has passed. If you don't want anybody else to know...

It’s not just pensions: How deeming quietly drives up Aged Care fees

No doubt about it, they get you all ways: coming and going, side to side, up and down, inside out and back again. And then they tax you when you die, one way or another. "Life wasn't meant to be easy," said somebody or other once upon a time.
